Kosiv – this is a town that is located at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains near the river Rybnytsia that flows into Prut. This town was found in the 16th century on the salt-bed. In different times Kosiv under Austria, Poland, USSR, and in some way it influenced its development. Now Kosiv is a tourist town and business center in the Western part of Ukraine. Here you can find comfortable hotels, private places to stay and spend your vocation. There are many museums, historical places and famous hutsulian mart.
